This cooperative learning lesson addresses the four economic industries: Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, & Quaternary Industries. A nation's economy can be divided into various sectors. Understanding these are important in understanding how our nation's economy works. You students will have fun and learn a lot about these industries!

Students bring in food items such as cereal, canned goods, or anything that can be donated to a community food pantry. Make arrangements with the local food pantry to drop off or pick up the items. The items will be used for the lesson.
