Historical Superheroes Project

Description
Students will create a superhero persona for any individual they learned about during a unit, semester, or year. There are 12 main academic and creative requirements to this project. There are also 4 optional extension tasks, including maps, a nemesis, superhero team, and historical parallels/time travel (an example is provided). A points distribution is included and this could work for a sub!
Sample requirements include:
--how are the powers revealed/utilized
--catch phrases
--area(s) of focus
--support received and hurdles navigated
--academic historical context
--and more!!!
