People of the Revolution- Ghost Busters Activity!

DAY 1: This super engaging lesson takes matching to the next level! Students pair the "ghosts" of the revolution back to their "grave cards" and then fill out a chart to determine which ghost slimed the classroom! They write an essay using CLAIM EVIDENCE REASONING and bust the ghosts of the revolution!

DAY 2: Haunted Museum and Epitaph Writing! Students design a gravestone and epitaph for a figure from yesterday's batch of ghosts! Then they design an artifact for them to haunt to put in the "haunted museum".

OPTIONAL EXTENSION: teacher can reveal who the slimer was!

ALSO INCLUDES: slides showing how I transformed my classroom and videos of my students working as well as ways to take this lesson to the next level!
