Looking for a fun digital activity on Scale Drawings with a Winter theme?
Students will enjoy enlarging and reducing figures using the "fill color" feature and "line" tool of Google Slides. They will learn the vocabulary of scale, and discover the relationship between perimeter and area when changing the size of a figure by a scale factor. The final slide is a drag and drop review of vocabulary terms. Enjoy exploring scale drawings!

 Product includes a printable foldable for the interactive notebook, and printable worksheets.

 Product covers:

*Scaling up different figures by a whole number scale factor

*Scaling down different figures by fractional scale factors

*Finding the perimeter of a figure and using the scale factor to determine the
perimeter of the new figure.

*Find the area of a figure and using scale factor squared, to determine the area of the new figure.
