Need a guide to the Constitution? Then this resource is PERFECT!

The PowerPoint introduces the principles behind and structure of the Constitution. Students will learn about the meaning and origins of federalism, separation of powers, checks and balances (among others), and will then examine how the Constitution is laid out: the Preamble, Articles, sections, and certain amendments. The presentation also leads students through specific Articles of the Constitution - focusing on Articles I, II, and III - and provides brief summaries of the remaining articles. The PowerPoint uses a Calibri font and includes custom animation, both of which can also be adjusted as needed.

The graphic organizer is for students to use during the presentation; a completed organizer is also included.

This resource has had a significant impact of my own students' understanding of the Constitution, and it is something to which they can refer throughout the year.
