There are four readings on different perspectives on the Chinese, Jewish, Italian, and Mexican experiences during the gilded age.
Students read the handout and then complete the graphic organizer about the push and pull factors, journey to the United States, and experiences of each group.
You can teach this lesson in cooperative jigsaw groups or have each group present to the class.
