Your students will LOVE these activities! Use the verbalizing from pictures strategy to support students' reading, speech, and language skills in a super fun lesson. This is our HALLOWEEN "What's in a Photo?" Reading Comprehension/Writing - 6 Printable Activities with Structure Words chart and enlarged photos for projection during the activity.

Students will view the picture at the top of their pages (and projected if you wish) and describe what they see in the photo using 12 structure words to prompt their thinking. They will then use those details to write three sentences and make a prediction of what might happen next. Finally, students are asked to write a short story describing the photo.
