I have a bachelors degree in Sociology with an emphasis in children, youth, and family and a minor in Criminology. I hold a Masters in Human Services with an emphasis in Social Systems and a concentration on family and work. As a former Career Counselor from a State University I left to teach career education independently because of what I saw and realized the solution to fixing those problems were starting much earlier.

We can never become what we don't know exists and I have set out to increase exposure in early career education in a very practical way by integrating it into common core math review. As a society we place more emphasis on saving $5 a day for college for 18 years than we do teaching 5 jobs a day for 18 years and most high schoolers leave for college thinking work sucks and knowing only a handful of uniformed careers. 80% of students nationwide change their majors at least once and more than half drop out.

Expose your students to jobs they may have seen in the world but have never thought about becoming and teach common core math through practical real life application.
