U.S. History Cumulative Review Game

Students will review a year of United States History (American History, US History) with the critical thinking review game, "what doesn't belong and why?" Each topic has up to 11 sets of words (people, events, terms, laws, documents, speeches, etc) for students to complete two tasks with. A teacher information page is included with an explanation of how to implement the activity and 5 examples. This would be great for individual unit reviews and as an end of course review.

The sets of terms/phrases are divided into the following topics:
--Exploration, Colonies, Revolutionary War
--Early Republic, War of 1812/Madison, Era of Good Feelings
--Jackson, Antebellum Era, Westward Expansion, Causes of the Civil War
--Civil War, Reconstruction, Gilded Age
--Imperialism, Progressive Era, WW1
--Roaring 20s, Great Depression, New Deal, WW2
--Cold War: Civil Rights, Social Items, Hot Spots, International Events, Domestic Politics
