Accounting Equation Unit

The Accounting Equation Unit is the first unit that I use with my Intro to Accounting students. 

I use these materials over five - 45 minute class period.  

Day one

1. Complete the Accounting Equation Worksheet 1 with students. 

2. Have students complete the Accounting Equation Worksheet 2 individually. 

Day two

1. Complete the Changes in the Accounting Equation Part 1 Worksheet 1 with students. 

2. Have students complete the Changes in the Accounting Equation Part 1 Worksheet 2 individually. 

Day three

       1.  Complete the Changes in the Accounting Equation Part 2 Worksheet 1 with students. 

       2. Have students complete the Changes in the Accounting Equation Part 2 Worksheet 2 individually.

Day four

1. Have students complete the How Daily Activities Within Your Business Change the Accounting Equation? Quiz A  as a review.  Go over the answers with students. 

Day five

        1. Have students complete the How Daily Activities Within Your Business Change the Accounting Equation? Quiz B  for a quiz grade.
