Description
Distance learning is revolutionizing what we do! Use short interactive videos like FlipGrid(TM), SeeSaw(TM), or the Canvas(TM) Multimedia Tool to engage your learners!
Students are Instagramming, SnapChatting, TikToking, and posting it all online. Why not capture that excitement in your class?! This resource was created for Middle School and High School World Languages and has ideas from beginner to advanced levels.
This resource includes
-
Sample Virtual Lesson Plan for distance learning (synchronous/asynchronous)
-
How to set up your assignments and use the rubric feature in FlipGrid
-
35+ activity ideas for interactive videos
-
18 and 30 point rubrics to grade assignments
-
"Zero" point rubric so you can grade for completion or assign you own points
Rubrics are in English and Spanish, some ideas are in Spanish, but most of this resource is in English making it great resource for French, Chinese, German, Italian, or any other World Language!
***Canvas users: This resource is good for you, too!! I love FlipGrid, and I also love using Canvas’ “multi-media” option with the Canvas rubric! If you want students to respond (as they could in FlipGrid) put the prompt in a Forum!
