Addition Battleship

It's time to get militant with these facts! These two files are the cover page and insert for creating your own addition battleship. Once students place their ships on their board, they can guess were their opponent's ships are by reciting addition sentences like 3 + 2 = 5. This also helps teach them about coordinate grids and pairs! The first addend is the X (over) and the second addend is the Y (up/down). As with the actual battleship game they can "hit" or "miss", but they can also launch a "dud" by naming the wrong sum. Have fun and may the best one win! :-)
