Description
Students will review 24 events from US imperialism (imperialism in US History) with this timeline stations and map activity. They will first put together one timeline with 12 events and write academic identifications. They will then match 12 other events to their identification, expand on the identification, and put them in chronological order. The third station (or task) is image analysis and the final station (or task) is a map with 17 labels.
Sample timeline items include the Boxer Rebellion, annexation of Hawaii, the Russo-Japanese War, the Teller Amendment, the Insular Cases, the Open Door Policy, the explosion of the Maine, and more!
Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate. This would be great for a sub if used as an individual or pairs packet!
