Disease Prevention 3-Lesson Unit for Teens! Ready to go, low prep! All slides are EDITABLE!

Unit 4 includes 5+ hours of classwork including:

-Lesson 4.1 - students will learn the definition of "disease prevention", learn about communicable and noncommunicable diseases and how to prevent them, and research one communicable and one noncommunicable disease

-Lesson 4.2 - students will learn the steps the CDC takes when a disease breaks out, watch a timelapse of Covid-19 spreading, and will analyze how the CDC handled the Covid-19 outbreak step by step, and will play a disease video game

-Lesson 4.3 - students will be given a brief introduction of 8 historic disease outbreaks, as well as document their own journey living through a historic disease outbreak by answering reflection questions about their experience with Covid-19
