Description
Use this game in your classroom to have your students incorporate critical thinking, and Earth Day math in a fun way (optional: finding ordered pairs on a coordinate plane).
You are taking part in a challenge to clean up the trash that is all over your neighborhood.
*You don't have to collect all the trash, but you get points for collecting it.
*Each type of trash is worth a different number of points.
*You want your route to be as short as possible because you can get extra points for distance.
*You can only move parallel to the x-axis or the y-axis.
*There are 32 pieces of trash in the game and each individual piece of trash can be collected only once.
*Optional. Students can find the ordered pairs for each piece of trash on the coordinate plane they've collected.
