FREE Martin Luther King Jr. Valentine's Day Card "King of your Heart"

Martin Luther King Jr. "I Will be the King of Your Heart" These fun Historical Valentine's Day Cards are fun for the whole class. Included in the file are color and blank versions. The blank versions allow them to color to their liking and then give the card to someone else. I also make the students do a little research and explain what the card means, since we don't cover all of the historical figures on these cards.

I also encourage my students to write things on the back of the card that they like about their friends and classmates. We use encouraging cards frequently in my class and it has really helped the culture of my classroom to be more positive. Students keep track of who they have written them to throughout the year so they aren't writing to the same person each week.
