Living History Interview and Research Project

Students will create a mini primary source collection to show how people and society have been impacted by Covid-19, 9/11 (September 11, 2001), or one of 41 other historical events from living/recent history. To complete this project, students will use a combination of their own experiences, interviewing someone older than them, researching through newspapers, and creating timelines. Each project option has a balance of academic research and interview components. The Covid-19 option has 8 requirements, the 9/11 option has 12 requirements, and the historical event selection option has 10 requirements. A general guidelines page is also included.
