Description
Welcome! Upon completion, this summary table offers a holistic one-page study guide for a histology unit in human anatomy and physiology.
-
Students will fill in information about the three sub-classes of epithelial membranes (serous, mucous, and cutaneous) and the five sub-classes of connective membranes (fascia, synovial, periosteum, perichondrium, and meninges).
-
Students will then write the main function(s) for each of the three sub-classes of epithelial membranes.
-
In addition, students will map out the two types of serous membranes, visceral and parietal.
-
Students will also identify the scientific name and common name of the organ or body cavity the membranes cover.
I also included a complete word bank.
This PDF file will become editable upon conversion to Microsoft Word using an Adobe Acrobat Reader DC program.
