Greetings! This extensive three-plus day health science activity is for middle school students. It is designed to help students define, compare, contrast, and apply self-concept and self-respect principles that govern knowledge, confidence, behaviors, attitudes, and goals. By understanding and applying these principles, students will be empowered to make positive life changes.

- Two full-page true-false worksheets about self-concept and self-respect, each with 38 statements for students to evaluate and correct
- A follow-up full-page student self-assessment short answer questionnaire

- A bonus true-false answer strategy tip on the introductory reference handout
A famous axiom is “A problem identified is a problem half-solved.” That statement is fitting for the mission mentioned above. How many students unnecessarily deal with anxiety, insecurities, and stress daily because they lack realistic foundational self-awareness? How many don’t take care of themselves, treat others disrespectfully, and don’t pursue healthy long-term goals from a lack of self-respect? The answer is too many people and students today! This lesson series will help address the root of the problem.
