Description
Are you looking for a US History EOC Review Activity that reviews Cause and Effect? This US History EOC review activity is a great hands-on way to get your students critically thinking about 4 units:
- Gilded and Progressive Era
- US Imperialism & World War I
- Roaring 20s
- Great Depression & the New Deal
Why I love it:
- It helps students practice the difficult skill (for many students) of cause and effect in a non-threating way. It LOOKS like matching (which seems easy for students) - but it's a bit more.
What's included:
- 104 sets of cards - 208 total covering the units mentioned above.
- Blank cards for you to create your own if you wish.
How to use in your classroom?
- There are several ways to use including in stations, whole class where every group is working on the same topic and for small group tutorials.
- I always suggest running these cards off on different colored paper. When a student drops a card on the ground, you'll know which baggie to put it back in.
- I always get the helps of Student Council or NHS students to help me cut these out. Once you have them prepped, you can used them year after year!
- Just print an extra copy as your KEY.
Yes, I am working on a second set of cause and effect for World War II to the Present . . . . it's coming!
