Description
Students will review 23 battles, events, and more from WW1 (WWI) with this timeline project and stations activity. They will put together one timeline with 12 events and write academic identifications. They will then match 11 other events to their identification, expand on the identification, and put them in chronological order. The third station (or task) is image analysis and the final station (or task) is a map with 22 labels.
Sample items include Battle of the Somme, Battle of the Marne, Gallipoli Campaign, assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the Lusitania, the Christmas Truce, Battle of Tannenberg, US votes against joining the League of Nations, declarations of war, and more!
Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate. This would be great for a sub if used as an individual or pairs packet! ***This would work in both World History and US History.***
