Description
Would You Rather Math - Surface Area & Volume of Rectangular Prisms, Cubes, and Right Prisms (Exit Ticket, Bellringer, Do Now, Warm Up, Math Talk, Test Prep).
Do you want to make your lessons engaging, give students a choice, spark curiosity, and let them express themselves through answering real-world math problems?
There are SO many ways to use these Word Problem Task Cards: Bell Ringers, Morning Work, Warmups, Exit Tickets, Number Talks, Spiral Review, Centers, Tasks for Early Finishers, Group Activity, Intervention, Test Prep Review, Homework, and more...
Would You Rather? Which piece of cake is more interesting to you, the one with more chocolate coated surface? Which pool will you fill with water faster? Which dish has more cola in it? Or maybe you like cheese fondue? Check out this activity: candles, soaps, honeycomb, and many more ideas about surface area and volume of prisms for different grades.
There are differentiated tasks from the simplest ones with cubes and rectangular prisms to tasks using the Pythagorean Theorem (triangular prisms, regular triangular prisms, or regular hexagonal prisms). Tasks are editable, so you can change the numbers or make a lot of different number versions out of 1 task.
Content:
* 30 "Would You Rather..?" cards with 2 options each to choose from, so there are 60 math tasks in total to calculate.
* Includes cubes, rectangular prisms, and right prisms.
* Students will practice converting metric units of length (m, cm, mm) using this activity.
* The surface area of rectangular prisms.
* The volume of rectangular prisms.
* The volume of rectangular prisms (liters).
* The surface area of right prisms.
* The volume of right prisms.
* The surface area and volume of right prisms: tasks in which it is necessary to use the Pythagorean Theorem or the formulas resulting from this theorem.
