5 Cold War Debate Videos for Students to Listen and Write a Claim with Evidence

5 videos are presented, voiced by teachers, arguing two sides of 5 Cold War Topics, and students get to watch, be entertained, make a choice, create a claim, and write evidence to support the claim that can come from their notes, textbook (you can change the numbers), or find evidence online.

You can watch and respond to all 5 at once, or individually, as you see fit. I love the concept of kids seeing a modeled debate, thinking for themselves, and then diving in with more interest.

I intended this to be a fun way to think critically. There is some silliness in some of the introductory video responses, but relevant reasoning are presented on multiple perspectives and sides of the cold war. Topics include Power, force, alliances, media, and more! This document is still being created through the second week of April 2020, so if you have bought in that time frame, the upgrades will all be completed then.
