All About Me Watercolour Pennant- Back to School/ First Day Activity

Designed with middle school and high school students in mind, this activity goes beyond the traditional back to school activities that ask students to list their favourite things. Older students are encouraged to reflect while responding to interesting questions:

• What motivates you to work hard?
• What makes you laugh the most?
• What accomplishment are you most proud of?
• If you could do anything for a day, what would it be?
• Positive words to live by ...
• Anything else you wish to share about yourself!

The simple yet artistic design is visually appealing without detracting from the content that students write. The template is provided in both colour and black and white for easy printing.

To display their completed pennants, students trim along the dotted edges, and hang them using clothes pins and string, or attach them to a bulletin board.
