Analyzing Influences Health Unit for Teens! Aligned with the National Health Education Standards. Ready to go, low prep! All slides are EDITABLE!

Unit 2 includes 5+ hours of classwork including:

-Introduction on how to use the lessons

-Lesson 2.1 - students will learn what influences their choices and behavior, be given scenarios, will watch a Dove commercial about toxic influence, and then will reflect on any toxic influences they have seen in the media

-Lesson 2.2 - students explore the 5 different ways the media tries to influence their behavior as well as analyzing 5 different videos in the media, then create a commercial using one of the 5 techniques

-Lesson 2.3 - students will understand what culture is and will explore their own culture, as well as share and listen to others student's answers about their culture

-3 Skills based projects to choose from

-Review activity (Memory Game)

-Summative assessment
