Animal Walks Handout for Parents | Sensory Processing and Gross Motor Coordination | Heavy Work for Occupational Therapy

A two page parent and caregiver handout that explains how to perform 8 different animal walks with their children, created by a pediatric Occupational Therapist! These movement activities are fun and helpful for sensory regulation, gross motor development, and coordination skills. Each movement provides proprioceptive input (heavy work) for your child's sensory system. These can be done during therapy sessions, at daycare or school, or at home with family members.
