Armenian Genocide Bundle

Students learn about the Armenian Genocide with these 23 slides, a 20 question note guide, and a primary source analysis. The presentation includes a brief history of the Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, an overview of the genocide itself, and the early efforts of Ralph Lemkin to get the world to take action against the perpetrators of genocides. This can be used as a power point, printed out as a learning packet for students in groups, or set up around the room like a gallery walk. For the primary source, students answer 14 questions--some relate to images, some relate to a telegram from Ambassador Morgenthau, and others have students connect the material to the Holocaust and other genocides. The answers are included where appropriate and the primary source analysis would be great for a sub!
