Balance The City Budget in San Francisco and Your Town Economics Assignment

You are the Mayor of San Francisco's $10 Billion budget. You have to cut 5%, but from where? How will you explain your choices to residents, and still be favorable for re-election?

In the second part on page 2, students will look at the actually city budget for their town, Brentwood, California (You can change the link to your school's city!!). They will research a little town history, budget items, revenue, and expenditures.
