Description
3 lessons for the whole month! This covered a wide variety of folk art, pop art, and story art. Students will learn about the traditions of the Ndebele tribe in South Africa, the Underground Railroad, and Martin Luther King. Each lesson incorporates history while including the elements of art. You will cover, color schemes, shape, line, pattern and more. The order I teach these in is, starting with the Ndebele houses, then we move onto the Freedom Quilts, lastly we finish the month with MLK pop art paintings.
