Boston Tea Party (for 5th-7th Graders)

The Boston Tea Party Lesson Plan discusses the major causes and events of the Boston Tea Party, why it was a significant event, and who was all involved with it.

This unit lesson was specifically designed for 4th-7th graders and has also been used with 8th graders with great success. The lesson covers one classroom period and comes complete with PowerPoint presentation and student exercise assignment along with teacher answer key (in PDF format, and also available digitally via Google Drive).
