Students choose a persuasive speech topic, and write a 1-2 minute speech with source evidence to persuade the class, which is polled ahead of, and after, the speech, to show how effective the student has been in changing anyone's mind.

This is a fun critical thinking activity that is great for English, Science, and History classes.
