China's Tang Song Ming Dynasties Timeline Map Image Analysis Stations Activity

Students will review 26 events, developments, people, and more from the Tang and Song Dynasties (Golden Age of China), the Mongol invasion, and the Ming Dynasty with this timeline stations and map activity. They will put together a timeline with 12 events and write academic identifications. They will then match 14 other events to their identification, expand on the identification, and put them in chronological order. The third station (or task) is image analysis and the final station (or task) is a map with 24 labels.

Sample timeline items include the voyages of Zheng He, Tang Dynasty falls, Ming Dynasty begins, Mongols overthrow the Song, 5 Dynasties period, completion of the Grand Canal, and more!

Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate. This would be great for a sub if used as an individual or pairs packet!
