This is a work packet/guided reading of the outline of the book "Clara Barton: Angel of the Battlefield" from Time for Kids Biographies. I outlined the whole book and left some of the terms blank. This is meant to guide students in an independent reading of the book.
I used this for my 6th grade special education class and as a lead in to a unit on Biographies. It also correlated with their Social Studies curriculum. I will also be following this lesson with a lesson on how to take notes using an outline format.
