Color thru Scope of Practice is a coloring resource useful in any Health Science classroom. These are used complementary with the Patient Care Technician curriculum and are full of tidbits of helpful information about what a PCT can and cannot do. There is plenty of room to add more notes/doodles for review.

Color thru what a PCT can do: measure vital signs, greet patients, check blood sugars, label specimens, assist with ADLs, draw lab work, perform EKGs, remove IVs, check on patients, help with dressing change.

And what they cannot do: administer meds, any form of teaching, insert catheter/IV, perform sterile procedures
