Description
Target learning: Learn the difference between conductors and insulators and their properties
Hands on lab with the students building circuits and completing an investigation learning the difference between conductors and insulators
This lab is a great for the unit of electricity, properties of matter (conductors and insulators)
Materials that you will need:
- D Battery
- D Battery Holder
- 1.5V Bulb
- Bulb socket
- 3 Wires or 3 alligator clips wires per student
After students build a conductor tester they will walk around the classroom and test many different objects.
Includes a fold-able lab sheet for the students to write down the definitions of conductors and insulators, complete a data table of objects that they find, and come up with a conclusion what these properties. Comes with answer key and instructions on how to print the lab sheet out for the students.
