Daily Writing Journal-Camping

.Daily Writing Journal-Camping is a 1st-grade Writing resource with a Camping theme. These practice sheets will give your students the opportunity to practice writing sentences in a daily, structured manner. The camping theme is woven into each page through the prompt and the pictures. What a great fun way to motivate your students to want to practice their writing daily.

It is differentiated. If your students are not able to write a sentence independently, there is a Make a Sentence cut and paste activity where students will take apart a sentence, then cut the words out and place them in the correct order to make a sentence. If students can or are attempting to write sentences, they will get a worksheet that has a word bank and a picture. Students will label the picture with words from the word bank. Then there is a writing prompt with a sentence starter. More lines have been provided for them to write independently by responding to a prompt related to teeth care.
