Easter Transformations

Students will practice transformations by moving figures on the coordinate plane using translations, dilations, rotations, and reflections. This Easter-themed lesson on transformation is in a fun, digital format, using the "fill color" feature of Google Slides, and "drag and drop" with points and lines to make their new image. Students will reflect across the x axis, the y axis, or another line on the coordinate plane. Dilations include scaling up to a larger image, or scaling down with a fraction as the scale factor. Students will rotate clockwise or counterclockwise, 90 degrees, 180 degrees, or in a complete rotation of 360 degrees.

And translations are completed by filling in the squares of the graph with the color of their choice. Great practice for all types of transformations.
