Description
Students will review 25 events from Europe in 1919-1939 (rise of totalitarian leaders, European dictators) with this timeline stations and map activity. They will first put together one timeline with 12 events and write academic identifications. They will then match 13 other events to their identification, expand on the identification, and put them in chronological order. The third station (or task) is image analysis and the final station (or task) is a map with 31 labels (two versions of the map are included for your convenience).
Sample timeline items include the Spanish Civil War, Mussolini's march on Rome, Stalin's 5 year plans, the Kellogg-Briand Pact, the Nuremberg Laws, Kirstallnacht, the Beer Hall Putsch, and more!
Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate. This would be great for a sub if used as an individual or pairs packet!
