Use these SeeSaw activities to help your K-1 learners practice number counting and recognition up to 20. They will practice identifying the numbers and number words.
 
What activities are included?
 
Count the Cereal:
  • Students slide the correct number of cereal pieces to the bowl.
  • Students identify the correct number that matches the cereal in the bowl.
  • For numbers 11-20, count on from 10 to identify the target number
 
Number Words:
  • Circle the correct number word that matches the cereal in the bowl.
 
Handwriting practice:
  • Write the numbers and number words for each numbers.
  • Write sentences to correspond with each number.
  • For numbers 11-20, students are given a ten, then must count on to make the target number.
  • Added benefit: students practice reading and writing sight words as they write sentences about the target number.
 
Teacher Resource File:
  • Download the teacher resource file to access the links for all SeeSaw activties.
  • This file contains a total of 8 activities, with 10 slides each, for a total of 80 slides. Since you may or may not want to have your students complete all the slides in one sitting, directions on how to assign a specific number of slides are included.
  • The teacher resource file also includes directions on how to assign and share the slides with students.
