Description
This resource is a digital & interactive math notebook made in Google Slides covering the unit of: Introduction to the Basic Understanding of Fractions, their Equivalence and Comparison of Fractions.
This unit covers 30 topics to build conceptual understanding of fractions as numbers, mixed numbers and operations with like units /denominators.
Created to align with 4th grade standards. Could be appropriate for 3rd-5th Graders depending on student needs.
Each topic is covered through an activity where students have an instructional slide with information and guidance on the skill, then a check for understanding. Some activities, especially in the beginning of the unit, when concepts are being developed, include drag and drop math tools and manipulatives. Students will then type their answers into each slide.
