Four TALL Tales Reader's Theaters

Here are four often overlooked tall tales about the Old West! Included are tall tales about Hiawatha, Casey Jones, John Henry, and Mike Fink! Each tall tale is written

in kid friendly language and is a great way to motivate your students to read while at the same time improving oral expression, fluency, and comprehension skills! Your students will love actively learning about how Hiawatha saved his people, Casey Jones drove his train over many perilous journeys, John Henry helped blast through a mountain, and Mike Fink drove keelboats up and down the Mississippi River!
