Geometry Easter Egg Hunt Math & Art Project 2D Shapes Triangles & Quadrilaterals
Description
Use this Math Easter Egg Hunt in your classroom to have your students incorporate critical thinking, and Easter Math in a fun way.
You and your team of 6 math animals take part in an Easter egg hunt.
As the team leader, you have a map of the Easter eggs. Each animal starts from a different place and has different magical abilities. You have to plan their routes so that your team scores as many points as possible.
Easter eggs are worth a different number of points.
Each animal makes only 1 figure-shaped route that it can move on (triangle, square, rectangle, parallelogram, rhombus, and trapezoid).
*Optional: students can calculate the areas and perimeters of the figures they have drawn.
