Gold Rush Simulation Game
I bought this for my 8th grade history class when it was previously available on another site. All my students enjoyed it, even the ones who are not usually very academically minded. It was not only fun; it gave us some excellent opportunities for class discussion. By the way, rather than making paper spinners for my class I used the website called Wheel of Names to make a spinner with the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 on it. Then I put the link to the digital spinner in my online class agenda. Since my students all have iPads, I found this to be quicker and easier.
