Description
Cardiac output, stroke volume, and cardiac reserve, oh my! Action potential, rhythmicity, automaticity, oh my! My Human Anatomy and Physiology students annually struggle to differentiate physiological heart terms during our unit about the heart. I integrate this lesson yearly to help them compare and contrast various heart function terms because many look and sound alike.
This full-page activity offers fifteen multiple-choice questions with four answer choices related to heart function. The questions will serve as a wake-up call for students who conduct the training with a partial understanding of the glossary terms. It includes a key with the answers in bold, red font. This PDF file will become editable upon conversion to Microsoft Word using an Adobe Acrobat Reader DC app.
