"I Have, Who Has?" Ancient Rome Card Game. Created by Becky Buhrke - The History Llama - Visit My Store
This is a fun game to play with your class as you review Ancient Rome. In this game, teachers will distribute cards randomly to students.
Each card has an "I have" statement and a "Who has" statement. This game can be played with any card as the starter. The first student should only read the "Who has" statement. The student who has the answer to the question will then say, "I have..." and then ask the next question of "Who has...".
The student that started the game will also end the game with their "I have" statement.
I wasn't sure if my middle school and early high school students would like this game but I was surprised with how many of them kept wanting to play! It is a great game to involve the entire class and keep them on their toes.
I usually play three rounds using the same set of cards with my students but redistribute the cards after each round.
In this purchase, you will get the following sets of cards:
✫ Set 1: 6 cards (there are FIVE different rounds for you to choose from)
✫ Set 2: 12 cards (there are TWO different rounds for you to choose from)
✫ Set 3: 18 cards
✫ Set 4: 24 cards
✫ Set 5: 30 cards
An answer key is provided at the end of each set to make it easy for the teacher to follow along and make sure the class stays on track.
Whether you are teaching in a small or large classroom, you will be able to find the set that works best with you and your classroom needs!
Each of the sets come in pdf format.
This game is designed to go along with my 2 PowerPoints on Ancient Rome but can be great as a stand alone game on Ancient Rome.
Thanks for checking this resource out! Happy teaching! :)
