Description
Students will learn about the people, events, beliefs, and different points of view from US Imperialism (American Imperialism) with these resources. The topics covered include the acquisition of Hawaii, the Spanish-American War, events in Cuba and the Rough Riders, the White Man's Burden, the Open Door Policy and Boxer Rebellion, Theodore Roosevelt, the Panama Canal, the Roosevelt Corollary, and more. There are images, maps, political cartoons, and recap questions in the slides.
The resources include a PowerPoint and note guide, 11 primary source resources (some with image analysis, point of view analysis, and extension tasks), 2 DBQs, an editable test, a vocabulary mix and match, trading cards and a cube, a one pager, true/false/fix, timeline stations, and MORE!
