Description
Students complete a 3 part interview to review Julius Caesar. They first answer 5 questions to review his life and accomplishments, then they interview Caesar after he comes to power, and in the third part students conduct his last interview the night before he dies (11 questions and answers). There is a bonus creative opportunity as a final task. The answers are included where appropriate and this would work for a sub!
Sample questions include:
--Explain the incident where Caesar was kidnapped by pirates, and how his handling of it may have foreshadowed other events in his life or his characteristics/qualities as a leader.
--List and explain 5 changes Caesar enacted upon become dictator in Rome. Then, rank them in order of what you believe was most significant to least significant.
--What do you think will be your biggest challenge in achieving your goals?
--What would you like your legacy to be?
--Do you have any regrets from your time in power? If so what and why, or why not?
--If you could give yourself one piece of advice upon assuming complete power in Rome, what would it be and why?
