Kevin Henkes Biography Scavenger Hunt

This is a little game that I have students play to find information about the author, Kevin Henkes as the introductory lesson to my annual Kevin Henkes Author Study.

I print out each page and spread the papers around the classroom.

Students work together in pairs to find all of the facts around the room, while writing down at least three facts.

I normally give students about 10 minutes to do this activity.

Then I bring all of the students back together to read the facts.
