LANDFORMS UNIT OF STUDY (WITH NEW YORK STATE EXTENSION)

Landforms are natural physical features on the Earth's surface.

This two-week unit focuses on landforms-- their definitions, where they are located, and how they are formed.

It includes a section dedicated to the landforms found in New York State.

The unit consists of online learning (YouTube, BrainPop, and Discovery) along with assignments and a culminating project. Visuals used to make understanding of landforms easier for lower grades to understand with enough detail to be used in upper elementary grades.
