Police building searches are methodical operations aimed at locating suspects, evidence, or contraband within a specified area. Officers typically utilize tactical teams and specialized equipment to ensure the safety of both personnel and civilians during the search. These operations often involve thorough planning and coordination, including establishing a perimeter and executing the search with clear communication among team members.
OBJECTIVE
During this building search lesson, students will be provided with hands-on repetitions and have a better understanding of how to safely clear a structure, respond to high-risk calls for service, and make good tactical decisions.
